History

Paladin Eastside Psychological Services, Inc. is a correctional and mental health provider formed from the joining of two parallel companies. The Paladin Group, operators of correctional facilities, and Eastside Psychological and Family Counseling Centers, providers of victim treatment and psychological services, which merged in 2006, together form a truly full-service agency.

The principals of Paladin Eastside have worked together for two decades in connected and overlapping disciplines, including:

  • Managing correctional halfway houses
  • Rehabilitating criminal offenders
  • Treating victims of crime
  • Preventing and treating addictions
  • Reunifying dysfunctional families

The management staff of Paladin Eastside has as much – if not more – successful experience operating contract correctional facilities for county, state and federal governmental entities than any other correctional contractor in the United States. Under Mr. Forren’s direct supervision, his corrections organizations were the first to:

  • Contract with Southern California cities to manage local jail facilities
  • Contract with the Bureau of Prisons for secure detention facilities
  • Contract with the Bureau of Prisons for secure juvenile detention facilities
  • Contract with the California Department of Corrections for secure detention facilities for return-to-custody offenders
  • Contract with the Bureau of Prisons for a for-profit Community Treatment Center
  • Contract with the Bureau of Prisons for electronic monitoring services
